CERTIFIED INTERVIEW COACH PROGRAM™ 

The interview process is an integral part in the career coaching and resume writing process. Many career changers or jobseekers find themselves at a loss and inexperienced when to comes to “selling” themselves during an interview This is where you come in as an advocate, partner, and information resource.

The CIC program thoroughly outlines the steps of effective interview coaching from the standpoint of the client and hiring authority. Take the time to review the topics that will be covered and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Certification Requirements

Upon completion of the program, you will be required to coach at least 2 clients on best interview practices. Total coaching hours must equal 12hrs. Clients are required to complete an evaluation form we provide with their comments regarding the interview coaching process and lessons learned. Take a look at our training options.

Certification Renewal Requirements
The renewal fee is $125 every three years. To maintain certification, graduates must receive 10 CEU credits fulfilling one or more of the following:

  • -- Participate in quarterly teleclasses provided by Certified Interview Coach Institute. Teleclasses will be free and fee-based. Note: at least three hourly classes will be provided at no charge every three years. This makes it easy for you to gain the required CEUs. 1hr = 1 CEU


  • -- Have clients complete an evaluation form     we provide with their comments regarding the interview coaching process and lessons learned. 1 completed evaluation form = 1 CEU.


  • -- Attend     interview workshops/training.  For verification, submit the workshop description and a one-page synopsis on lessons learned. 1hr = 1 CEU

  •  

  • -- Present an interview workshop/training. For verification, you will need to submit an outline of the workshop along with the location the class was held. 1hr = 1 CEU


  • -- Write and submit an article for distribution     to CIC students and graduates outlining steps they can take to hone their interview coaching skills. Article must be 1,000 plus words. 1 article = 2 CEU


  • -- Provide a "book report" on a pre-approved interviewing book.     1 "book report" = 2 CEUs
